1)Q: How do I back up my Sector Strike save file so that I may play it on another android device?
A: Google cloud backup is intended to allow settings to be restored when upgrading to a new device or factory reseting your device.
Unfortunately it is NOT intended for synchronizing progress between two devices. For example playing the game on your phone and your tablet at the same time will not work.
Go to Settings > Privacy on your old device and check the boxes for “Back up my settings” and “Automatic restore.” Make sure that under Backup account you specify the Google account that you want to backup data for.
Play Sector Strike on the old device. Make sure you have an internet connection, the backup can take up to 2 or 3 hours to happen, so leave it for awhile.
Then enable the same settings on the new device, with the same Google account.
Install Sector Strike, with a good network connection and it should download the backed up saved state.
NOTE: The cloud backup is managed by Google, so we are not able to help restore your data or investigate backups that have failed, please direct any questions about your specific backup to Google support.
2) Q: How do I restore ad-free status on Tank Hero on Android?
A: 1) Ensure you have a good internet connection on your device
2) Shut down the Tank Hero process if it is running in the background.
To do this:
- Go to the home screen
- Press the menu button on your device
- Press ‘Settings’
- Press ‘Applications’
- Press ‘Manage Applications’
- Scroll down the list and find ‘Tank Hero’. Select it.
- Press ‘Force stop’
3) Start Tank Hero and go to the main menu
4) Press the ‘Remove Ads’ at the top left corner of the screen. This
will bring you to the screen for purchasing a premium membership. Do
NOT push any buttons at this time.
5) Wait for up to 5 minutes. Again, DO NOT push any buttons during
this time or turn off your device. During this time, the game will be
communicating with the Android Market to restore your membership.
After a couple of moments you should see a message that says:
“Purchase is complete. Hit back to continue.”
6) If this doesn’t work, then try to repeat steps 1-5 again. If it
still doesn’t work try contacting us again.
