Fortified

We’re working on our first console/PC game! Here is a brief description of the project:

Fortified is an exciting new take on action strategy games. It combines shooter, real-time strategy, and base defense mechanics in a way that will challenge players like never before.

In Fortified, your goal is to work as a team to defend your base against unrelenting waves of enemy robots. Not only will you build defensive structures and engage in 3rd person shooting, but as a first for the genre, you will also be able to train and command units. Fortified features an uncompromising level of difficulty, and victory is only achievable with proper strategy and role fulfillment on the battlefield.

The game features a captivating visual presentation that is an homage to classic 1950’s sci-fi films. You will defend your cities from sky scraping robot invaders and menacing flying saucers. Play as one of four classes based on pulp character archetypes, including a Rocketeer inspired heroine, and a secret government agent. Arm yourself with a vast array of weaponry, ranging from Cold War era weapons to experimental Martian technology.

We’re going to be at PAX next week with a demo of the game. Stop by booth 6816 to try it out yourself. In the meantime, here is some gameplay footage.
